Notice of Committee of Adjustment: Monday June 24, 2024

This notice is to inform members of the public that the Committee of Adjustment of the Town of Penetanguishene will hold an electronic public hearing on MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2024, AT 7:00 PM to hear applications pursuant to Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.

The electronic public hearing will be hosted using the Microsoft Teams platform. Written comments are requested no later than June 19, 2024; however, all comments will be received and considered up until the evening of the meeting.

DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLICATION

  • The land subject to this Minor Variance application (File No. A4/2024) relates to the property municipally known as 110 MAIN STREET (see Location Map attached). The Minor Variance application seeks the following two (2) variances: A minimum setback from the exterior side lot line of 1.92 metres for accessory buildings, whereas a setback of 4.5 metres is permitted; and a maximum height for accessory buildings of 6.75 metres, whereas a maximum height of 4.5 metres is permitted.
  • The land subject to this Minor Variance application (File No. A5/2024) relates to the property municipally known as 65 WOZNIAK ROAD (see Location Map attached). The Minor Variance application seeks the following variance: An interior side yard setback of 1.2 metres for an accessory platform attached to a main building, whereas a minimum interior side yard setback of 3.0 metres is permitted.
  • The land subject to this Consent application (File No. B4/2024) relates to two (2) non addressed properties at the termination of Keefe Street, identified as roll numbers 437201000712150 and 437201000712151 (see Location Map attached).
