2026-2030 Committee and Board Member Recruitment

Applications are now being accepted for the 2026-2030 Term of Council.

The Town of Penetanguishene relies on its citizens to volunteer their time and expertise by serving on various boards and committees. These boards and committees give input and recommendations on matters that affect the entire community. 

To apply, applicants must complete the Town of Penetanguishene Committee/Board Application Form below. 

This application form will be available in alternate format upon request. Accommodation will be provided in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

As a result of amendments to the Municipal Act, municipalities are now required to adopt a Code of Conduct for its Local Boards.  The Police Services Board is governed by their own Code of Conduct.

The guiding principles of the Code of Conduct for Local Boards is that members shall act with honesty and integrity, serving in a diligent manner, and performing their duties in a manner that promotes public confidence.
