Advisory Committees of Council and Boards for the 2023-2026 Term of Council

The Town of Penetanguishene relies on its citizens to volunteer their time and expertise by serving on various boards and committees. These boards and committees give input and recommendations on matters that affect the entire community.

As a result of amendments to the Municipal Act, municipalities are now required to adopt a Code of Conduct for its Local Boards.  The Police Services Board is governed by their own Code of Conduct.

The guiding principles of the Code of Conduct for Local Boards is that members shall act with honesty and integrity, serving in a diligent manner, and performing their duties in a manner that promotes public confidence.

If you wish to attend or present to a Committee or Board on a subject matter, please contact the Town Clerk.
