Festival of Lights

December 1, 2023 from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm. (Tree Lighting at 5:30 sharp)
This event occurs in two locations.
The Penetanguishene Town Dock from 5:00 - 5:30 PM and then the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives from 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
Town Dock Tree Lighting
Join the Town of Penetanguishene for a Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Penetanguishene Town Dock.
The Tree Lighting activities will begin at 5:00 PM with live caroling, and a welcoming speech by the Mayor. Following the tree lighting, community members are invited to walk as a group by candle light, led by the "Snowflake Princess" to the Museum for additional activities.
Activities at the Museum (Starting at 5:30 PM)
The Museum will have activities for all ages, including:
- Fire pits with marshmallows
- Visits with Santa
- Photo Booths
- Free hot chocolate and cookies
- Take home crafts and goodies
- Live Music
- Strolling Carnival Performers
- Face Painting
