Master Plan Workshop - The Town of Penetanguishene is undertaking a Town Dock Secondary Study to examine potential new uses in the Town Dock area to help guide development and assist in making future investment decisions.
It is with mixed emotions that the Town announces the retirement of Kris Adamson, our Planning and Community Development Department, Administrative Assistant. February 26, 2021 – The approval and rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in our region provides an optimistic picture for the future. The Town of Penetanguishene in partnership with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) and the other North Simcoe Municipalities is proud to offer a vaccination clinic at the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (Arena).
In accordance with By-law 2012-23 as amended, from March 1 to April 30, all roads (other than those with exemptions) will be restricted to load limits of 5 tonnes per axle. These restrictions will remain in effect for the above noted time period and will depend on road conditions with signs posted accordingly.
