The Town of Penetanguishene Roads Division, in conjunction with D&G Concrete and Morden Construction will be performing the preparation, installation and restoration of a sidewalk on the south side of John Street, starting Monday, June 29, 2020.
The main purpose of the Weed Control Act R.S.O. 1990, is to reduce the impact of noxious weeds on the industries of agriculture and horticulture. Primarily this act applies to agricultural and horticultural lands that generate income or other benefits to agriculture; this excludes lawns, gardens and private areas for personal enjoyment and leisure.
The Town of Penetanguishene continues to monitor news and updates concerning COVID-19 in order to ensure we work to keep our community members safe. Council of the Town of Penetanguishene will hold an Electronic Public Meeting on July 8th 2020 at 7:00 p.m. to pass a Zoning By-law amendment to remove a Holding “H” Symbol from the Zoning By-law for 28 McArthur Drive (see Location Map attached).

The Town of Penetanguishene is looking for input from the residents on the new Draft Property Standards By-law. This new draft by-law is intended to replace the current by-law, 2011-35 and includes regulations on graffiti, mold, trees and set fines.
