Youth in Penetanguishene Encouraged to Apply for $400 Grant Through Youth Endowment Fund 2026

The Town of Penetanguishene is pleased to offer a $400 grant through its Youth Endowment Fund. 

A resident or group from the Town of Penetanguishene, or an individual or group that attends school in Penetanguishene, that is engaged in an activity that assists in promoting the Town through participation in athletic, artistic, educational or cultural activities, and is prepared to share their knowledge or skill with others in the community through a volunteer activity, may be considered for this grant. 


Interested individuals or groups under the age of thirty can apply by completing the Youth Endowment Fund Application Form, outlining the: 

  • Name of group or individual with a qualifying Penetanguishene address or school. 
  • Activity (athletic, artistic, educational, cultural) and how it promotes the Town of Penetanguishene. 
  • How the group or individual will share the skill or knowledge with others in the community. 

Applications must be submitted no later than 4:30 pm by Friday, March 27th, 2026, by email or in person to:

Grant applications will be vetted by the Wellbeing and Accessibility Committee (Committee of Council) and scored based on the set criteria. The successful recipient will be announced during National Youth Week, which takes place the first week in May every year.
