Waste Collection Impacts - Friday December 6, 2019 UPDATE

The County’s waste collection service provider, Waste Connections of Canada, is reporting a significant number of additional waste collection resources have been brought in today. As a result, Waste Connections and another service provider are returning to service recycling routes not completed this week including:

Monday – Tiny Township

Tuesday – Penetanguishene, Midland, Ramara and Tay Township

Thursday – New Tecumseth, Innisfil and Bradford-West Gwillimbury

Notifications to this effect were sent to app subscribers in the effected areas earlier this morning.  

Collection impacts are communicated to the public through messaging on simcoe.ca, social media, as well as directly to subscribers to the ‘Simcoe County Collects’ mobile app.  Residents should be encouraged to download the free app through Google Play or the App Store.
