Upcoming Lane Restrictions for Tree Maintenance

The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department advises residents, businesses, and motorists of temporary lane restrictions required to safely complete scheduled tree trimming and removal work. All work is weather-dependent.

Tree maintenance will result in lane reductions at the following locations and times:

  • Don Street, between 7 and 9 Don Street, on Friday, April 24, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m. until completion. Work at this location will be completed by Shades of Green Tree Service.
  • Fuller Avenue on Friday, April 24, 2026, with lane restrictions in effect during tree work.
  • Lafontaine Road, in front of 1061 Lafontaine Road, on Monday, May 4, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until completion. Work at this location will be completed by Shades of Green Tree Service.

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution, follow all posted signage, and expect minor delays. Where possible, the use of alternate routes is encouraged.

The Town thanks the public for their patience and cooperation while this essential maintenance work is completed.
