Town of Penetanguishene offers condolences to victim of the senseless shooting on July 27, 2023
Penetanguishene, ON - The Town of Penetanguishene is deeply saddened by the tragic event that occurred July 27, 2023 at the Village Square Mall. Our condolences go out to the family and friends of the victim. We are keeping them in our thoughts during this difficult time.
We would like to thank the first responders for their quick and courageous response to the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and our community is cooperating fully with the Southern Georgian Bay OPP. We trust that they will do everything possible to bring those responsible to justice and share further details with the public when appropriate.
