Sewage Treatment Plant Bypass as a result of Saturday's Heavy Rain

This notice is to inform residents and businesses that a small raw primary bypass occurred at the Fox Street Sewage Plant, 146 Fox street, as a result of the heavy rain event Saturday June 26^th, 2021.

Volume: 91 m3 (Chlorinated)

Duration of Bypass: 146 mins 6:11pm to 7:57 pm

Cause: Heavy Rain Event, June 26, 2021.

This bypass has been reported to SAC and Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit. A beach sample will be done this week, and results will be posted on our website and shared through our social media channels.
