Rotary Champlain Wendat Park Multi-Use Trail

Rotary Champlain Wendat Park Multi-Use Trail

Portion of Trans Canada Trail Groomed for Winter Multi-Use

The Town of Penetanguishene would like to announce to residents that the Georgian Bay Snowriders will be grooming the portion of the Trans Canada Trail through Rotary Champlain Wendat Park for multipurpose use throughout the winter months.

The multi-use trail will be open for a variety of uses including but not limited to:

  • Snowmobiling
  • Walking
  • Snowshoeing
  • Skiing

To ensure safety for all community members, lamp posts will remain on from 4:30 PM - 11:30 PM daily. New signage will be added to each end of the trail in the coming days to advertise the multi-use nature of the trail and remind snowmobilers that other users may be present.
