Notice to Midland Penetanguishene Transit Riders - Free Transit Service for the Pirates of the Bay Event
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise residents, businesses and the public that there will be a dedicated transit bus service provided for the Pirates of the Bay event being held on Saturday August 3rd, 2019 at Discovery Harbour.
The hours of operation for the transit service will be between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm. This dedicated transit shuttle will be provided free of charge and will follow the route outlined on the map below.
Passengers seeking bus service are not required to be at a designated bus stop or shelter to get on and off of the bus. Midland Penetanguishene Transit allows passengers standing in safe locations to flag down the bus along its route and get on the bus. The two (2) main pick up and drop off locations will be at the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre and Discovery Harbour.
