NOTICE: RESIDENTS/BUSINESSES SIGNIFICANT WEATHER EVENT ENDED
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to advise the residents/businesses that the significant weather event has now ended as of April 3 , 2025.
The Town of Penetanguishene is responsible for trees located on Town owned property only. Property owners are responsible for trees on private property. Crews are currently focused on clearing high-priority sites impacted by the storm and are working at full capacity. Your patience and understanding are appreciated as we continue recovery efforts across the community.
To support the cleanup process from the March 30th ice storm that affected homes and businesses across the region, County of Simcoe waste drop-off sites will be accepting brush debris, free of charge, from March 31 through April 28, 2025. Note that root balls are not considered brush and will be charged at the full waste disposal rate.
