NOTICE: RESIDENTS/BUSINESSES SIGNIFICANT WEATHER EVENT

The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to advise the residents/businesses  of a significant weather event possible from late Friday March 28th until Monday March 31 2025. Significant ice accretion from freezing rain, with amounts in excess of 20mm possible. This may include possible utility outages and  slippery surfaces.  

The crews might not be able to meet the Minimum Maintenance Standards (MMS O.Reg 239/02) for municipal roads and sidewalks due to the accumulation of freezing rain that is anticipated.
