Notice of Intent to Update Water and Wastewater Rates & Fees and the Town Fees & Charges By-Laws for 2024

The Town of Penetanguishene is updating their Water By-law and their Fees and Charges By-law, which sets out the costs for a wide variety of municipal services.

The proposed changes to the water and wastewater rates and fees and the Town’s fees and charges schedule will both be presented to Committee of the Whole on October 11, 2023, with Council ratification anticipated on November 8, 2023. If approved by Council, the updated rates, fees and charges will come into effect on January 1, 2024.

The 2024 proposed changes to the 2023 rates, fees and charges are now available online by viewing the October 11, 2023 agenda.
