Main Street Retaining Wall Repairs: June 16 - 19, 2026

The Town of Penetanguishene advises residents and visitors that Thornton Hardscape Inc. will be completing repairs to retaining walls along Main Street that were damaged during the winter season.

Construction crews will be on-site from July 16 - 19, carrying out restoration work to maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of the streetscape. Sidewalks will remain open and accessible at all times.

Installation of benches within the project area is anticipated in early July, pending delivery.

The Town appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this necessary maintenance work is undertaken.
