JB Enterprises has informed the Town that they will be working on Saturday July 21, 2018 to complete roads works in the intersection of Robert Street and Main Street.

To this point, all of our communication regarding detour routes and vehicles has been geared towards the safe operation of motor vehicles.  At this point we would like to remind pedestrians to be extra cautious when moving through the construction zones as the risks associated with an active construction zone are abundant, but definitely not limited to vehicular traffic.  Trip hazards, excessive noise and dust are just a few of the hazards that exist in addition to the vehicles traffic.  Remember to always keep yourself safe and don’t rely on others for your own safety.  If you need assistance, don’ hesitate to ask any of the workers on site.

With the installation of the sanitary bypass pumps at the intersection of Poyntz Street, there may be a minimized turn lane.  Please use caution when proceeding through the intersection and be courteous to others.

Thank you to everyone for your continued patience and understanding.  Should you have any questions or concerns please contact the Public Works Department at 549-7992 or visit the Town of Penetanguishene website at www.penetanguishene.ca.
