Main Street (Reconstruction) - Road Work Ahead Signage

The Main Street Reconstruction Project is coming along and despite the cold weather, snow and ice JB Enterprises Ltd. has completed the following work for the week ending April 20th, 2018:

• Installation of a Fire Hydrant Assembly and Gate Valve at the intersection of Main Street and Water Street;
• A 150 mm Water Main Gate Valve was installed at the intersection of Wolfe Street and Beck Boulevard;
• Temporary Water Main (100 mm diameter) has been placed on the Main Street from Wolfe Street to just South of Brock Street;
• Installation of 100 m of 675 mm & 525 mm diameter sanitary sewer has been completed from the Pollution Control Plant (PCP) to the Main Street.

What's Next?

Coming up for the week of April 23rd to April 27th, 2018 JB Enterprises will be working on:

• Testing and commissioning of the Temporary Water System from Wolfe Street to Water Street;
• Installation of the new sanitary sewer from the Philip H. Jones PCP laneway to Beck Boulevard;
• Commence installation of the new sanitary sewer from Philip H. Jones PCP laneway to Tessier Drive
• Removal of the existing concrete road base from Wolfe Street to just South of Tessier Drive

During this time the traffic travelling on the Main Street will be detoured around the work area in accordance with the approved traffic control plan.
