Closure of Bridge on Copeland Trail
The Town has recently completed inspections on several trail bridges to ensure the safety of all users. Based on the findings, one of the two bridges on Copeland Trail has been closed effective immediately. This closure is a precautionary measure to address structural concerns identified during the inspection.
This closure will remain in place until the bridge can be replaced with a new pre-engineered structure. Signage has been posted on-site to clearly indicate the closure, and we appreciate your cooperation in respecting these safety measures.
As a reminder, snowmobile use is not permitted on Copeland Trail. A map and photos of the affected area are available for reference.
