Boil Water Advisory: Lepage Subdivision Well Supply LIFTED

Please be advised that on this 24th day of March, 2023 the Penetanguishene Water Division, with direction from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, has LIFTED the BOIL WATER ADVISORY for all homes serviced by the Lepage Drive Subdivision in Penetanguishene.

The bacteriological samples which were collected on March 23rd, 2023 were tested and found clear of any potential contaminants. Therefore, the Boil Water Advisory was lifted by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on March 24th, 2023 at 1:00pm.

We thank you for your patience during the events which resulted in the Boil Water Advisory being issued.


This notice is to inform residents that with the direction of the local public health authority, the Town of Penetanguishene has issued a BOIL WATER ADVISORY for all homes serviced by the Lepage Subdivision Well Supply in Penetanguishene.

All users connected to the above noted water system must boil their water.  This means that the water must be brought to a rolling boil for a minimum of 1 minute prior to consumption.  The water should not be used for drinking, making infant formula, juice or ice, washing fruits and vegetables, as an ingredient in food or brushing teeth unless the water is first boiled for 1 minute.  Commercially bottled water or water from a known safe source could be used instead.

This BOIL WATER ADVISORY will remain in effect until further notice from the Penetanguishene Water Department. A written notice of the boil water advisory has been delivered to residents impacted.
