The Town of Penetanguishene has launched its new online community engagement site, Connect Penetanguishene, where community members are able to share their ideas and opinions on municipal projects.
The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department will be working in conjunction with B. Edwards Transfer Ltd to assist with the flushing of storm sewers throughout the Town, which started yesterday, Monday, August 24, 2020.
The Town of Penetanguishene 2021 Budget process is underway and a public survey is being conducted to encourage dialogue with our residents. As part of our customer service strategy, our team works hard to provide opportunities for residents to provide their input on various Town topics. This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to inform you that Water Street will be closed between Scott Street and Owen Street, on Thursday, August 20th, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 am until the completion of the repair.
Town of Penetanguishene Council has approved the application for Draft Plan of Subdivision File regarding St. Andrews Village.
Town of Penetanguishene Council has approved the application for Draft Plan of Subdivision File. The Draft Plan of subdivision includes eleven (11) blocks (Blocks A through K) with three (3) blocks for Single Detached Dwellings having 28 units, one (1) block for Townhouses having 20 units, two (2) blocks for the common elements condominium which includes open spaces, road and parking, two (2) blocks identified as waterlots, one (1) block for the Marina, one (1) block for the apartment building having a maximum of 36 units and one (1) block for a recreational centre (see Draft Plan attached).
With safety protocols in place and options for fare payments now available, on Monday, August 24, Mid-Pen Transit Service will resume its regular schedule and begin collecting fares from transit riders.
