ATV Operator Charged for Operating on Roadway in Penetanguishene
(PENETANGUISHENE, ON) - On October 26, 2020 officers from Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded at 3:55 p.m. to assist Penetanguishene By-law officers.

The Town of Penetanguishene Works to Create a Greener Municipality
October 30th, 2020 - Town of Penetanguishene Mayor, Doug Leroux and Chief Administrative Officer, Jeff Lees are pleased to officially announce the opening of the new publicly available dual port Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station at Town Hall.
Road Closure – Don Street from Church Street to Fox Street
This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene to inform you that Don Street will be closed between Church Street and Fox Street, on Friday, October 30thth, 2020 between the hours of 9:00 am until the completion of the repair.
Road Closure – Broad Street from Church Street to Fuller Avenue
This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene to inform you that Broad Street will be closed between Church Street and Fuller Avenue, on Thursday, October 29thth, 2020 between the hours of 7:00 am until the completion of the repair.
Changes to Parking Hours on Municipal Roads and Municipal Parking Lots
This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene, in accordance with the Implementation of Traffic/Parking By-law Amendments Policy, to inform residents and businesses that the following changes to Section 30. 2-Parking Prohibited in Certain Places on a Highway, Section 44-Municipal Parking Lots within the Traffic and Parking By-laware being proposed by Town staff:
North Simcoe Service Delivery Review
October 27th, 2020 – In early 2020 the Town of Penetanguishene, Town of Midland, Township of Tay and Township of Tiny were successful in receiving provincial funding to review services provided by each municipality. Service Delivery Reviews are a common exercise for municipalities to gauge their level of service across all business units and see where opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness exist.
