The Town of Penetanguishene will hold an Electronic Public Meeting on MONDAY, MARCH 28, 2022 AT 7:00 PM to hear a Provisional Consent to Sever application pursuant to Section 53 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990. The electronic Public Meeting with be hosted using the “Zoom” platform for online meetings where the public can participate via video or telephone.
March 14, 2022 – The Town of Penetanguishene is thrilled to announce the completion of the Age-Friendly Study which has taken place over the course of the last year, resulting in the finalization of an Age-Friendly Community Plan.
March 11, 2022 - The blue-and-yellow flag of Ukraine has been displayed outside of Penetanguishene’s Town Hall as a symbol of the community’s support for the people of Ukraine.
Update: The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise residents that the audible signals and locator tones for the pedestrian traffic lights at the corner of Poyntz and Owen Street will not be operational until the necessary parts are delivered.
March 1, 2022 – As of 12:01 a.m. this morning, Ontario has moved into the next phase of its reopening plan.
Penetanguishene - In line with the provincial decision to gradually ease public health measures, the Town of Penetanguishene will be reopening municipal offices to the public on Monday February 28th, 2022. Previously, these offices were operating by appointment only.
February 17, 2022 – With Ontario moving into the next phase of reopening as of 12:01 a.m. today, the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (PMCC) remains open, with the following rules in place:
