Notice of Public Information Centre: Peel Street Streetscape Design
The Town of Penetanguishene is hosting a Public Information Centre to obtain feedback on
the streetscape design of Peel Street from Robert Street East to Simcoe Street. See the
Location Map on the reverse side of this notice. The new streetscape design is in
anticipation of the broader reconstruction of Peel Street from Robert Street East to Brock
Street in 2026/2027.
Date: Wednesday, April 16 at 7:00 p.m.
Location: Council Chambers (2nd floor of Town Hall), 10 Robert Street West,
Penetanguishene.

7:30-8:00pm | Review display boards, provide input, ask questions. |
Purpose: Streetscape design is the design of a roadway formed by the placement of
physical features such as buildings, sidewalks, parking and loading areas,
lighting, street furniture, and landscaping. The purpose of the Public
Information Centre is to introduce the project and to obtain your feedback
on a new streetscape design for Peel Street.
