The Town of Penetanguishene would like to inform residents/businesses that Public Works will be completing remediation work at the Dog Park, located in Rotary Champlain Wendat Park starting on October 12, 2021.

While the COVID-19 pandemic has affected all residents of Simcoe Muskoka, many of our senior residents are particularly at-risk with potential impacts to their physical and mental health as well as their social wellbeing.
UPDATE September 2, 2020: All in-person Provincial Offences Act matters (e.g., traffic tickets and offences under provincial legislation) scheduled until October 16, 2020 will be rescheduled. Do not attend court.

In response to the Ontario Government’s phase one plan for reopening the province, The Town of Penetanguishene is relaxing a number of measures in place on local parks and greenspaces to allow for greater access for residents.
May 21, 2020 – With the start of stage 1 of the framework for reopening the province, the Town of Midland, Town of Penetanguishene, Township of Tay and Township of Tiny are all re-opening their boat launches for public use. Midland and Tay’s boat launches are open now. Penetanguishene and Tiny’s boat launches will open the afternoon of Friday, May 22.
