The Town of Penetanguishene is looking for input from the residents on the new Draft Property Standards By-law. This new draft by-law is intended to replace the current by-law, 2011-35 and includes regulations on graffiti, mold, trees and set fines.

The Committee of Adjustment of the Town of Penetanguishene will hold an electronic public meeting on Monday, June 29th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following application for 73 Polish Avenue: Minor Variance Application (A4/2020) relates to the land composed of Part of Lot 52 on Plan 69, and furthermore described as part of Lot 33 on Plan 1712 in the Town of Penetanguishene, and municipally known as 73 Polish Avenue (see location map attached).
This notice is to advise residents that the Town of Penetanguishene has granted permission for an Outdoor Patio on the west side of Main Street, adjacent to 96 Main Street (Flynn’s Irish Pub) in accordance with the Town’s Extended Use of Sidewalks and Boulevards By-law 2014-35. As a result, the first three (3) parking spaces adjacent to the patio have been closed to vehicular parking by installation of bollards and planters until October 12, 2020.

The Town of Penetanguishene has deemed the following applications for a proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision and an application to amend the Town’s Zoning By-law 2000- 02, as amended, “Complete” Applications under Subsections 34 and 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13 on the 3 rd day of June, 2020.
