Penetanguishene Town Hall has lowered its flags to honour the passing of one of the town’s volunteer firefighters. Captain Ron Marchand passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.

Road Closure – Burke Street from Fox Street to Church Street

This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to inform you that there will be a road closure on Burke Street, between Fox Street and Church Street. Provincial announcement imposes changes to recreation facility operations

December 17, 2021 - In response to the rapidly spreading Omicron variant, and following the provincial announcement of new restrictions to control the spread of the Omicron variant, the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (PMCC) will be restricting the number of people that can enter the facility to 50% capacity, effective at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
