Excess Snow Removal Planned in Residential Areas
The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise the residents/businesses that snow will be hauled/removed from the following streets starting tonight, January 11th at 11:30 pm until 7:00 am on January 12th, 2022.

Update: The Town of Penetanguishene would like to advise all residents and businesses that the Significant Weather Event has ended in Penetanguishene as Operations crews completed clearing all excess snow and sidewalks earlier today.
2022 Tree Seedling Distribution Program

Road Closure – Burke Street from Fox Street to Church Street
This notice has been issued by the Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department to inform you that there will be a road closure on Burke Street, between Fox Street and Church Street. This section will be closed on Sunday, December 19th, 2021 between the hours of 7:00 am until the completion of the repair.
Provincial announcement imposes changes to recreation facility operations
December 17, 2021 - In response to the rapidly spreading Omicron variant, and following the provincial announcement of new restrictions to control the spread of the Omicron variant, the Penetanguishene Memorial Community Centre (PMCC) will be restricting the number of people that can enter the facility to 50% capacity, effective at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
