Events & Exhibits

The Town of Penetanguishene offers a few different options when it comes to beaches for enjoying the warm weather. Rotary Champlain Wendat Park and Huronia Park all offer sandy beaches, great swimming areas along with other amenities including playgrounds, pavilions, washrooms and much more. Accessible by foot or by car these beaches are a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.

March Break Activities

  • Date: March 10th to 14th
  • Time: Timeslots from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
  • Come to the museum to make a different crafts and explore through fun scavenger hunt! Each day has a different theme and registration.
  • Admission: $5 per child
  • Registration is required.

Social Hour with Lego Flowers

  • Date: Friday, March 21st
  • Time: 2PM
  • Join us for a social hour making Lego flowers, drinking tea and enjoying a treat!
  • $25 per person
  • Pre-registration is required.

Easter Eggstravaganza

  • Date: Saturday, April 19th
  • Time: 9:30AM to 12:00PM
  • Event includes an egg hunt, visit with Easter Bunny, egg races, crafts and treat bags.
  • $5 per person

Canada Day at the Museum

  • Date: Tuesday, July 1st
  • Time: 11:00AM to 6:00PM
  • Join us for Canada Day celebrations at the Penetanguishene Museum. Music, BBQ, Inflatables, Face painting, entertainment & more!

Halloween Spooktacular

  • Date: Saturday, October 25th
  • Time: 10 AM to 12 PM
