TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town of Penetanguishene deemed the following application to amend the Town’s Zoning By-law 2000-02, as amended, a “complete” application under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990 on the 23rd day of January, 2019.
The County of Simcoe, in conjunction with the Town of Penetanguishene, would like to advise residents that tree clearing activity will be commencing on February 25, 2019 along the County Road 93 corridor from Thompson Road to St. Andrews Drive in Midland.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide the public and the residents of Chatham Street the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Town so that any questions or concerns can be addressed prior to construction.
Due to the current significant weather event that the Town is experiencing, and in conjunction with the closure of the Municipal Office, the Public Information Session for the Chatham Street Reconstruction Design has been cancelled for tonight, February 12, 2019.
Please be advised that due to the continuing bad weather, the Town of Penetanguishene offices and facilities (administration, arena, museum, library) will be closing at 2:00 pm today - Tuesday February 12, 2019.
The County of Simcoe has informed us that snow and high winds are causing whiteouts and poor road conditions across today's waste collection area.
