The Town of Penetanguishene has lowered the flags at Townhall to half-mast in honour of former Penetanguishene Councillor Bob (John Robert) Cascagnette who passed away last week, on July 7, 2020.  Bob was a long-time, former member of the Town of Penetanguishene Council having served as a Councillor for several terms beginning in 1981 and spanning a period of twenty years, including having served as Deputy-Reeve in 1989.

Park Closure ImageThe Town of Penetanguishene Recreation and Community Services Department would like to advise residents that a section of Rotary Champlain Wendat Park will be closed on  Thursday July 23 from approximately  10:00 am to 3:00 pm  .  Fisheries and Oceans Canada will be onsite to replace and upgrade 2 navigational aids in the park as well as complete location maintenance.
