Update: The Town of Penetanguishene Public Works Department would like to inform residents/businesses that Superior Road Products will be installing a preventative road maintenance treatment on Champlain Road (Military Road to the Town Limits) and Sandy Bay Road (Between Gilwood Park Drive and Gilwood Park Drive) on September 29th, 2021. This project will take approximately 1 day to complete, weather permitting.

Lane restrictions will occur during the application process and please observe all signs and flag persons.  The sand cover used on the asphalt surface will be removed within one week after the sealing application. Please use caution when driving on the loose sand and if you accidentally enter a freshly treated area that has not been sanded, the sealer can be removed from a vehicle with a pressure washer and degreaser soap.

We would like to thank you for your cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the above please contact the Public Works Department at 705-549-7992.
