A special note from the Mayor and Council

“Our Council meeting was very productive this week.  Glancing around the table, it was evident that we have Councillors with a vast amount of experience and knowledge.  We would like to recognize groups and volunteers who make a significant impact on our community.  They provide leadership, expertise, encouraged involvement, participation, quality with a diversity of experience.  Recognition of their unpaid work is what makes our municipality so unique.  The impacts are noticed in all aspects of the community.   Council expresses its sincere appreciation to all the volunteers.  A quote by Eckhart Toile summarizes our gratitude “Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation to all abundance”.

The Town offers a variety of opportunities for youth, adults and seniors. You’re encouraged to become involved in this great community.”
