Birthday Parties at the Museum

Come and have your Birthday Party at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives. Activities for 4-7 year olds include: dress in pioneer costume, churn and sample butter, gather hidden eggs, make and take home a Jolly Jumping Jack. Activities for 8-10 year olds include: dress in pioneer costume, churn and sample butter, museum treasure hunt, experiment with quill and ink. $8 per child, (minimum 10, maximum 15), loots bags available, ask for details.

Family Fun at the Museum 
Drop by each week for a different theme with coordinating crafts, games/activities & scavenger hunt. Adult supervisor required, all activities are included with admission, Monday to Saturday, 9-4:30

July 4-July 8: Happy 150th Birthday Canada
Canada flag t-shirt painting, croquet.

July 10-15: Backwards or Forwards, Travel in Time
Make your own time capsule, Star Wars bowling.

July 17-22: As Cute as a Cupcake
Non-edible 3D cupcakse, Pin the Cherry on the Cupcake.

July 24-9: All Things Canadian
Everything Canadian collage, Across the Country bean bag toss.

July 31-August 4: It's a Pirate's Life for Me
Pirate craft, Hook Captain Hook game.

August 8-12: The Wendat: Dwellers of the Peninsula
Clay pot craft, grind corn, play Toss the Stones

August 14-19: A Day in the Life in the 1800's
Yarn doll craft, try your nad at laundry 1800's style, make ice cream.

August 21-26: Slates, Quills and One Room Schoolhouses
Experience the use of a slate & quill, create a candle to do your homework by.
